Just got back from our medicals. It really is the easiest money that we've ever parted with. We've heard this said alot on here and its true. The medicals went fine. Our 12 year old was over the moon as we only found out whilst there that no need for any blood tests for under 15s. We were in and out within about 15 minutes each. Tina was gutted she didn't have her breasts examined, and i, myself, was over the moon as i never got charged £50 extra for additional blood test (Hep B & C) for having tatoos. All in all, for anybody about to have them or still to have them theres nothing to worry about, it wasn't scarry at all.
Hi Tracey
about the cough thing
lucky for us that the meds weren't yesterday as the doc would not af been happy ,from the wee point of view no problem . so no more hormones to worry about for another month thank the lord.
Hi and well done guys doesnt it feel great when they over with, we had ours done today aswell and like you say easiest money spent. Im a bit annoyed though as I have a tattoo and was charged the extra for the Hep B and C, hhmmmmmm!!! Just our luck I tell ya!!! But I am sooooo relieved that everything came back ok. Was anyone else as worried about them as me??? I have never been more relieved than when doc signed all 3of us off as being healthy, still waiting for blood tests but they should be ok. So I am sitting with a celebratory glass of Rose wine, so cheers to everyone else and good luck. I suppose all there is left to do is wait for the "DECISION"!!!!

Glad to hear your meds went well as well. As for you paying the extra £50, what a bummer. Once the doctor had finished with me and it was obvious that he was not going to ask for another blood test i asked him, in the name of research, why he wasn't going to do the extra tests for hep B&C and his reply was its at the doctors discretion, which i thought was a funny answer. But hey, it saved me £50, and he was a very nice doctor.
As for the rest of you wicked woman: fiz; hays; jonseywife, well he took one look at my tatoo of a cheese n onion crisp (please keep up, this is from a past joke from Dan).
He was soooo impressed he said to me "Man, you've obviously got no brains and you're as cool as." He then said "No matter how mad and brainless you are i've just got to pass you on your meds as you're one hell of a guy." Well, i think thats what he said, but then i think he wanted to get me out of his office as the next family was waiting, ready for him to earn another £500 for yet another hours work. Yeah, i've got no brain. If i had i would have been a panel doctor for people like us and i'd be rolling in it.eddie
