On the visa form, birth certificates for children. Does it have to be the full certificate. I have the short one.

Only take 20 mins at the registery office, The new long birth certificate looks like an A4 sheet, in green - which really confused me!

Hi
Yes we sent off the short ones only to find we needed the long ones. Dropped a letter into our local registrar office with stamped addressed envelope and they returned them within a couple of days. Also cost £7.00 each.

Hi
a word of caution if you look online to order birth certificates be careful, they only cost £7 but there is a company that make it look like they are the registry office and want to charge £20 or more, the person at our registry office says she is always getting people complain about this.
I went down to request one, they did not ask me for any ID
