TRA Passed

Hi everyone

Hubby passed TRA today, yippee!!!! one step closer. Now have to find out if he needs a licence to work out there, or sit further testing once we arrive. Hes a joiner by trade, does anyone know the answer?? We're hoping to settle in NSW. Any feedback would be good.

Wahoo Well done,

RE, the licensing i got an e-mail this morning only trades on there were sparks, plumbers, mechanics and refrigeration, but would check with state you are heading for, no sorry cant help on an addy for ya.

Thanks for the info KP, the agency we're with has sent us the same through today with all the contacts on and like you say, joiners aren't listed, but will check with NSW training thingy. Our TRA was acknowledged on the 5th and passed today if thats any help to ya, 2 weeks to the day so I think that is pretty good going. The letter was actually dated 14th!!

Congratulations on having your TRA, what a relief. Hope the rest of the Visa goes as smoothly and good luck. Sorry, can't help you with the licence question, hubby is a sparky.

Well done, when did you send off your TRA? Mine was acknowleged on 19th June and still have not heard anything. The letter I got said 10 days for jobs on demand, I did email and was told I would hear by post. Hope the wait does not mean bad news.
