Hi Ange

We are using Go Matilda to process our Contributory Parent Visa. I am sure we could have done it on our own but I wanted to make sure all the right boxes were ticked at the start so to avoid paperwork being sent to and from Oz. The wait for us is long enough 12-14 months without the worry of not getting paperwork right to start with.

Good Luck with your application

Caz

Hi Caz

I don't think your CP 143 visa will take 14 months, chooks. I'd say nearer 12. IThe POPC are taking about 9-10 months from lodgement till when people hear from COs. Once that happens, COs who are dealing with experienced Agents seem to ask for the meds, the police and the Assurance of Support at the same time, because Joanne willl be dealing with the AOS whilst you deal with the meds and the cops, In Perth, it took my sister 14 days to get an appointment with Centrelink. She deposited the Bond a week laterand Mum's visa was granted a week after that. Anne H did it even faster than we did if you recall from the immense thread she and I ran on Go Matilda last year.

More recently I saw a post by Alan Collett in which he said that he faxed the maindate for the second VAC payment to the POPC one morning recently and the visa was granted that afternoon.

As far as oiling the wheels of a CP visa is concerned, GM seem to know ALL the tricks for speeding them up, never you fear!

Cheers

Gill
