Question re: Visa 136 application

Hi everybody

Hopefully somebody can answer this question for me.

I am currently filling in the 136 Visa Application as we are hoping our TRA application will be successful first time. In the information booklet 6 that is for General Skilled Migration it states :

"You must also include with your application certified copies of all the documents provided to the assessing body"

As some of you may know, our TRA was 110 pages in total (OMG)... does this mean that we have to get somebody to certify copies of ALL 110 pages individually and send them with our application. That the way I'm reading it.

Really need your help on this one.

Hi, We too are filling in our 136 visa. We have sent our TRA as well. We were told by our agent to get certified copies of (for our visa application) qualifications, wage slips, reference from employers, P60's (only one copy of each certified) birth certificates for all familty member (full) to be entered on application, marriage licence, passport page, 4 passport size photos for each member but these do not need to be certified. I had to submit certified copies of everything I submitted for my teaching assessment. I do think I had the easy deal though - not as many documents were required.

Thanks for your reply, yes we are on pins at the moment. Received the acknowledgement last Tuesday but was dated week before and we are hoping that we will hear either this week or next. Fingers crossed.

Has your agent not requested your TRA because he already had it on file and will send it along with all your other documents himself or do you think it really isn't required?

Another couple of questions : How many wage slips do you need to send and are you only sending P60 for the main applicant. If so, how many years back are you going?

Will have to sweet talk up my friend who has been certifying our docs for us and buy her a large bottle of wine and wrist splints to help with the Repetitive Strain Injury then.

I have a nasty habit of shredding nearly every document we get, what can I say, I enjoy it !!

Have only got last months, don't know what we'll do !

Hi there,
We sent certified copies of everything official eg references, certificates, stat dec and TRA assessmet, but just sent basic photocopies of college notes, statements and everything else. We also printed all the details of the friend who certified everything on the documents, so all she had to do was sign and date.

we just used the same format on the front of any documents if they had the space but printed it on the back if we did not, it saved soooo much time and hassle

Hi again, Not sure if agent will be sending TRA aswell. He has made copies of everything and asked us to get 2 copies of some documents (as in the list l describe in previous post) in order to send off with our visa application. Our TRA application was not 110 pages long. Are you applying for a different visa or is it is a skilled 136. For visa itself we have to fill in form 80 one for each person over 18, form 457sk(think that is the one) and thats it, as he already has other documents from TRA. We have sent for TRA 18months of wage slips and for Visa we will be sending 18 months wage slips and the last three years in p60's. Bearing in mind OH has has only ever worked for one employer and he is the main applicant. I am a primary teacher but have not had to fill in anything or provide any documents regarding my profession. We have not had any acknowledgement yet, l rang agent today to ask that, but ours only went off on the 5/4/07. See l told you l was impatient!! lol

It is the 136 Visa we are applying for, starting to worry now, I think we just assumed it would be a doddle compared to the TRA.

Can only supply one payslip but 17 years worth of P60's. LOL ! Hubby has also only worked for the one employer, I'm sure there must be a way around it somehow.

Oh well, please keep the help coming, it is all really useful.
