Question How Can My Mum Join Us?!

Hi there all. I am new to this site and really need some of your golden advice.

Me and my partner really want to take ourselves and our little girl out to Oz to start a new life.

My problem is that my mum is 65 and I would hate to leave her over here for good. I know that if 50% of her kids live out there, she can apply that way, but she would only have one third of her children living out there if I were to go.

Her only living sibling (her brother) has lived in Perth since the 80's with his wife and 8 kids. I don't know if this could help her out there at all. She would also have around $700,000 to take out there with her.

Is there any way she can get out there permanently once we have lived over there for a couple of years even though she would only have one out of three kids living out there that could sponsor her?

Thanks!

Hi Shernon and thank you Kim for your kind comments.

I am passionate about trying to help Parents because of my own family's hassle in this area.

Shernon, it seems from that you say that the Balance of Family Test - which is crucial to Parent-migration - is not met at the minute.

Is there any chance of onne of your siblings migrating to Oz too? If so, that would solve it.

If not, do you mean $700K AUD or do you mean £700k sterling? If the latter, then the rest of this should be discussed with Alan Collett of Go Matilda in private in my personal view.

I am really sorry to seem cryptic but there is no point in suggesting notions which might prove not to be viable.

Best wishes

Gil
