Question Child Meds.

Hi Everyone,

Could anyone tell me, when you go for medicals ours not for a while yet does it matter if your children have had the MMR jab.
Mine have had all usual vaccinations when babies but not this one.

Thanks.

Boobear.

Hiya not sure about meds but when i put my daughter into childcare they are only accepted if all injections are up to date, also they will withdraw any child care assistance benefit if they arent kept up to date .We had only been in the country a month when my daughter was called for her booster injections ,it seems quite a big deal over here.Dont want to worry you but it may be something to look into forr the exact rules,,

I'm not sure about the TB jab mandy, we had the same problem in the UK with my daughter who was 11 at the time. I quoted dept of health etc., that there is an increase in TB in the UK and surely it only decreased because of mass immunisation programme, I asked if I could pay privately but it got me nowhere. Had we been from the one of the coutnries listed on the back (which seemed to include everywhere but uk) she could have had it done.

Like Cal said though, when I put the children into school, they wanted a list of all their immunisations and took a copy
