hi we sent our tra on the 16th of march, and have not recieved an acknowlegement, has any one else recieved any thing if sent around this date or afterwards.
I am worried sick, as we done it our selves, husbands job is on demand list
I read the tra is closed this week for easter, and this is going to prolong this longer.
Thing is I know it takes around 3 weeks, but I hope it is not lost, and an acknowledgement
would be nice.

We sent our skills assessment in to vetassess on line and mailed rest of paperwork on the 3rd March .we received an invoice for payment a few days later but heard nothing on the paperwork .We e-mailed them to find out if they had received it and got one back saying they had.
This morning we got the positive result we wanted,but we hadn't had any other communication about it except to ask if there were any more degrees. we are so happy now we've got one out the way.We too have done this ourselves

we posted are forms to our migration expert and he got it on the 21/02/07 he submitted it on the 22/02/07, we got our ack on the 16/03/07 and passed on the 30/03/07.
hang in there it should'nt be to long......

I was just about to ask the same question, mine went in on 9th March through our agent in Melbourne and I have heard nothing I am not a happy bunny.
This is the second application, first one was acknowleged the day they recieved, we couriered it so it only took a couple of days, the positive result arrive about two weeks later, it was not the category I wanted to pass in due to recent work experience, long story......................
Does anyone know if there are problems at TRA?
I know that they moved offices to near the airport and alot of staff were not happy (result of talking to a very nice TRA assessment officer) so maybe they are short staffed?
OR
They hate me, that's it, they have found out that I dressed my bro in a dress when he was 6 and locked him out on the front grass while Mum was out (in my defence he was a little brat and I was only 13)

still no reply from TRA
they told my agent it was in the post last week, so I waited till Monday, Tues, Wed, Thurs, contacted agent again, they have spoken to them again and have been assured the result is on the way, they will not tell him over the phone what the result is arrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh
