how quick can you get 457 visa approx....

hi im wondering how quickly can you get a employer sponsored visa and be out there.....and should i use an agent for this or do it on my own.....if i am to use an agent can someone recommend a very quick efficient agent as the ones i have used in past are not good at all....

Hi, 457 usually take between 6-8 weeks from visa lodgement date. I cant answer your question about agent as the company i got the job with first time did it all for us but i was about to ask same question this time as i am waiting to hear if i have a job offer with a company as i dont know if i will have to do it all ourselves too.

If anyone who has been out or already out on a 457 could answer whether they did everything and put there own name and address down on visa forms to be the one to be contacted about anything?
