Dugong
Hello Is there an age limit for sponsors? (visa 138 skilled sponsored) My partner's auntie and uncle live in Brisbane and are in their mid 70's. They are retired and own thier own property. We will be staying with them for a while when we finally arrive! They are both permanent residents and have lived in oz for over 40 yrs. They aren't citizens but their children have full citizenship. Their son in law will act as our Assurer as he is in fulltime work and earns the required amount. Thanks for any help. Seems like a silly question but I cant find an answer! Welshtone
No problem unless one or both die before visa grant. Lodge with two form 40's one with Aunt as main sponsor and uncle countersigns and the other with uncle as sponsor and aunt countersigns - either can be the sponsor, it does not have to be the blood relative as is often assumed. Dugong
Hi, Thanks for reply! Form 40 is in Oz at the moment being filled in by my partners uncle with his wife countersigning. Is it essential to do two form 40s? Thanks Rachel
