This site has given me so much hope reading all your progress reports about moving to Oz.
Currently I am working in Holland as a media production lecturer at an International University, been here 6 months. This is my first Higher Education teaching position.
I am looking to apply for work at either a University or a further education college on the east coast of Australia.
The problem is my boyfriend is dutch (Not his fault!), he is currently doing his degree part time and will not finish for another two years.
Question 1: can he transfer his credits to an Australian degree? and carry on doing that part time?
Question 2: Will he be able to get work out there. He has five years experience in ICT support and has microsoft qualifications as well. Without a degree?
Question 3: He is also divorced and has two children that he sees every two weeks, will this have an effect on his visa application?
I am very worried that he won't be able to go, can anyone give me some advice???
Can my boyfriend come too?
