cost of visa

Hi everyone, me and hubby thinking of emigrating from uk. Knew it would be expensive but we have just found some info that says the visa application alone is about $4000. Is this right?

No using an agent and undergoing further medical tests our total came to approx 3500.00GBP,this was for Tra,Dimia,Agent fees etc ,hope this helps

The charge for just the visa application is $1,900.00 AUS Dollars.
On top of that you need to play for your skills assessment, copy documents (I.e. from solicitor), police checks and medicals.

Thanks very much, thats put my mind at rest a bit. Do you pay the agent fee when the visa is complete, or do you have to pay any up front. We really want to do this but our money tied up in the house. Guess we will have to take a loan out and pay it off when we are at stage that weve sold house. Its just all so confusing and worrying and we havnt even applied for visa yet!

my agent just told me to get

meds

and police check done. Booked

meds

for 2 adults and 2 kids (1&2 yrs) and was quoted just under 800 euros ! . Wondered how this compares with UK.

4 x full medical exam and 2 x chest
