Ozpom82
I have submitted my 190 visa, and under my childrens section it is showing that I have to attach police checks for them. Is this correct? there only 5 and 8 regards
Gareth 666
No, they won't need them it's just a default list. Your CO should trim it down a bit, I think I only had to upload birth certificates, passports and a couple of other bits. They will need meds though but at that age it's just a brief physical exam and it costs a lot less than the adult ones.
Ozpom82
Thanks for your reply. That's a relief as I've already sent mine and my wife's off on Friday. As I have lodged my visa now and have a TRN number, am I right in thinking I can book Medicals now for in a couple of weeks time, as this would allow the 10days for a case officer to be assigned. or should I just wait? Gareth 666
Hi, You can book meds if you wish, your visa once granted will need to be validated within 1 year of the police checks or meds, whichever is dated earliest. There should be a link on your visa documents required page to book your meds with a list of clinics you can attend. Some people get all of their documents uploaded, meds completed and get visas granted without ever from their CO as no other info is required.
