unsuccessful T.R.A. what can i do next?

Hi ,just had by T.R.A. form back, saying that there is insufficient evidence of training or work experience in an occupation assessed by T.R.A.,but they did note my city and guilds and apprenticship.I was wondering what visa options if any where available to me and my family? :(

Sorry to hear of this 'blip' - my advice would be to send them some more info - although that may seem impiossible righ now :?

Take a few days to get your heads around this. Are you using an agent? If you are then get their feedback on the situation if not then maybe you could seek the advice of one.

Above all, dont give up the dream

Hi Mike4mandy........
Keep your spirits up chaps!!! :)
Is it a case of sending more info. or do you have to apply to the TRA again?
We did use an agent and we couldnt believe the amount of stuff we had to send as proof of my husbands experience - we were told that even though my hubby had worked as a plumber since he qualified nearly 25 years ago, the city & guilds and apprenticeship certificate simply would not have been enough - we sent pages & pages, unbelievable!!!! Talk about thorough!!!
If it helps and you need more details on what we had to send, just let us know!!

Good luck :)

- Speak to TRA

- Speak to one or two competent migration agents who have a good record of handling TRA skills assessment applications

- If you are unsure about what to do after you have done the above, engage an agent

Best regards.

really sorry to hear your news. just on the positives, without the guidance of our agent we would never have inc. the amount of info in the statement of service, my husband is a bricklayer and it took months to put together. it ended up being over 30 A4 pages long ( and sooooo boring)sorry brend,ha,ha. it may be worth your while considering an agent as i know from our own that you can appeal either way anything worth having is worth fighting for,
best of luck,
judith, bendan and the gang.
