Job before you arrive?

Hi, Can anyone help? I am looking for tips on how to find jobs in Australia where the employers sort you out with a job before you actually go to Oz. I have been looking for any websites that allow you to post your CV for employers to contact you, but haven't come across any that don't make you pay upfront! Any help is appreciated !!

Thanks

Nancy

Hi Nancy,

Hi Keith,

I have been sponsored by a company called Nurseworldwide and got the job, i have done lots of little courses and have an NVQ level 2 and 9 years experience. All we done was do a search on google on the internet for sponsorship in australia adding your job description in the search too. When we did mine it came up with 3 different companies and i could have got a job with another company too so it worked well for me. All you do is email where it tells you too and attatch a copy of your CV or as they call it out there your Resume and they will them get back to you to tell you if you have enough qualifications of what they require. Make sure you add everything to every small bits and bats you have done and training as everything will go for you, even trainng you may think is too little or silly to put on it. The company who i have got the job with then emailed me my visa application forms after my telephone interview at 1.15am lol so be prepared, and my job offer and they told me what parts of the visa form to fill out and all we are awaiting for now is the visa which is due any day got 6 month back log though. We did all our medicals too etc. I really hope this helps and if you need any more info dont hesitate to post on here as i read this forums regular.

Hi Nancy,

Once we knew that we didnt get enough points to go over as a skilled worker we started looking into any way possible that would get us over there. Once I read about the possability of sponsorship we started to look into it. All I did was a Google search and came up with a few companies that offered sponsorship for the type of work that I do in the UK.

Once we found the company it was a case of sending them the resume and then waiting. That didnt take long.

What line of work are you in? The best way is to find a company that offers sponsorship already, that way they dont have to go and seek permission by the immigration board. If you also go onto www.google.com.au and do a search for jobs (in Oz only) and then see what comes up for your line of work. It will state on some job description that you need to be a resident, but some dont and thats where we started.

If you would like me to have a look for you, let me know what type of work your in and I will have a look and let you know if I find anything.

We didn,t have to pay anything at all.

Cheers

Lynne & Tony
