What is best route to take?

Hi Everyone

It gets more confusing by the day!!! The more research i do, the more confused i become.

Hope some of you professionals can help - I am 36 at present i am a sales and marketing manager within IT. The job scores well and i have passed various FREE assessments online. The problem is that the migration specialists state that if i do not have a formal qualification i.e. degree, diploma etc then my 12 years experience is no use.

Is this true? if so what is the next best visa to look at? We are looking at Melbourne as a base.

With regards work - does anybody know if companies in Oz or places to look for companies who offer sponsorship?

In hope.

Keith

Hiii..Will tell you what happened with us..Paul has worked as a plasterer for years and years but has no formal qualifications in this field..When he had his skills assessed the TRA took into account the number of years he has worked in this field, and employers references backed this up..They were happy with this and he had a positive skills assessment :)

Skills

Hi Jo

That sounds good to me. Thanks very much for that. The light is ignited again. It all seemed like doom and gloom.

Thanks and good luck

I know how you feel Keith, I'm trying to research everything and it really bogs you down, but these guys here on this forum are a Godsend. I don't know what I'd do without them, probably tear out the last of my remaining hair.

What is best route to take

Hi Keith,

I have been sponsored by a company called Nurseworldwide and got the job, i have done lots of little courses and have an NVQ level 2 and 9 years experience. All we done was do a search on google on the internet for sponsorship in australia adding your job description in the search too. When we did mine it came up with 3 different companies and i could have got a job with another company too so it worked well for me. All you do is email where it tells you too and attatch a copy of your CV or as they call it out there your Resume and they will them get back to you to tell you if you have enough qualifications of what they require. Make sure you add everything to every small bits and bats you have done and training as everything will go for you, even trainng you may think is too little or silly to put on it. The company who i have got the job with then emailed me my visa application forms after my telephone interview at 1.15am lol so be prepared, and my job offer and they told me what parts of the visa form to fill out and all we are awaiting for now is the visa which is due any day got 6 month back log though. We did all our medicals too etc. I really hope this helps and if you need any more info dont hesitate to post on here as i read this forums regular.
