Got an appointment with solicitors this week. Ready to apply for TRA.

Sould I get 2 or 3 copies of rererences stat decs etc done?

Hi Jan , We photocopied all our documents (2 or 3 of each ) ourselves but only took 1 copy of each along with the originals to get certified as the solicitors charge per copy certified . We had prices of £5 per copy quoted but eventually found 1 that only charged £1 per copy, its a big saving when you need a lot doing. Joanne

Had a quote of 50p per copy as we need over 50.

Just unsure wether I also need copys of ref etc for main visa application.

For a one off fee our migration agents solicitor certified copies of all our relevant documents, we took full advantage of this and had 5 copies of my degree certificates and transcripts as well as references and skills assessment stuff.

Hiya i was lucky enough to find (purely at random) a solicitor that didnt change for certifying i had at least 2 or 3 copys of most things signed, birthcerts etc,and i noticed i did have to re-send certain info with the Dimia application after the TRA ,if your going andpaying i'd personally get 2 or 3 copys of each ,the laft overs came in handy for medicare and bank accounts over here ,,hope this helps

I went through the yellow pages I got quoted various amounts, Like Cal I got 3-4 copies of everything, as you'll need certified copies for your main application (don't forget your passports too). We paid £20 for about 50 copies, I also asked for a couple of business cards so I could enclose it with the application.
