Hi ,could anyone tell me how much the visa cost, looked on there web site and it had 2 payments.one of 1,990 and a second of 2,765 dollars, but i was unsure weather we had to pay the second payment, thanks Mike :D
I'm glad it's not just me thinking that same thing! I read it that if you had competent English and so didn't need any translations etc you would not have to pay the second payment. So that would mean you would just have to pay the £795??????????? :?:

Hi Mike & Mandy
I made same mistake as you, nearly had heart failure but found out you only have to pay second instalment if your dependents need english classes out in oz. So as long as that is not case you just pay 1990 dollars which is bout 800 pounds. Still expensive tho!
The second VAC is only payable if there is an issue with the English language competencies of the visa applicant/s => for most of these migrating to Australia the second VAC isn't payable.
Best regards.
