We are applying for a Skilled Independent Visa and will hopefully get a 3 year visa early next year to live in a low growth area. After 2 years we can apply for a permanent visa providing I have done 12 months in my chosen job. Is this likely to be guarenteed or is there likely to be a maximum number of places, etc.
It seems a big jump if there is an element of uncertainty about a permanent visa
