Parcelforce NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Hi,
Just letting you all know not to use Parcelforce!!!!!! I have read some threads about other DHL and other couriers and they seem fantastic compared to the traumas we are having with Parcel force.
We where advised by the post office that parcel force would get our TRA there in 7-10 working days, we were given a tracking number to track if it got there, unfortunatley, 30 days later and numerous phonecalls later they cannot trace it, it was a meesely £25.25 for International standard, i now wish i had paid £125.25 just to make sure it got there.
By the way, the customer services treat it like i have sent a christmas card, saying they will compensate the value of the paper, NOT VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!
Regards
Rache76 :(

Hi Rachel, so sorry that you are having so much stress

I used interparcel as recommended on here (just did a search, they were easy to find on the net)

my TRA went in a large jiffy bag and weighed just under 1kg - it cost £22 and was at TRA 3 days after leaving UK - left 12ish Fri and arrived first thing Mon - EXCELLENT will use them again

I hope you copied everything? I nearly forgot but did copy everything that went in the parcel including the application form

will keep fingers and lots of other things crossed that it turns up for you

take care

Karen

Surely you mean ParcelFARCE!!

I am so sorry to hear this. Their attitude stinks and they should be accountable for their inadequacies (?).

I hope it is traced quickly - the whole TRA procedure was enough of a 'slog' for us - thank god our arrived safely.

I wish you luck

Carol

Thanks to everyone who replied.
I emailed TRA last night and by this morning i have had confirmation that our application had been received on 16th November, i have no idea why Parcelforce are in the dark about it being received, but who cares at least it is there and not floating around anywhere.
We used the International standard, which i still don't recommend, because in the small print it is not guaranteed delivery (at all), but i know of other packages that are, i know in the future i will use either DHL or interparcel one that can be tracked all the way!!!!!

Sorry to hear the stress caused, some people just dont seem to care anymore :!:  I used the Royal mail sign for service, it cost me 5 pounds and was insured if they lost it, 10 days later i had confirmation that they had recieved the application form when royal mail said they would :!: Very pleased :D :Beckyx.

What a relief!! You can relax a little now.

Our panel doctor used International Signed For and it took just over 3 weeks for the medicals to get there! Was definitely flapping!!
