We have just submitted our visa application- Independent subclass 136, but my husband has been offered a new job, what I am asking is, will it affect our visa application if my husband changes job here in England whilst we are waiting, hopefully that our visa is accepted our should he just stay at his old job until we go I dont want to do anything that might hinder our move to Aus. The job is still a mechanic but with a differant firm.

I am in the same situation, I came to OZ on a 457 and have been offered another job whilst here working and waiting for my PR, my agaent told me it was ok to change jobs as long as the tasks and duties for the job still match your nominated occupation for which you applied.
I hope you understand what I mean
