Anyone in Caloundra?

Does anyone know anything about that place?
Transportation, renting issues, what kind of work is there to do...etc

Going there on 14th of November with my mate and ant info is needed:)

We would like to know about public transportation in Caloundra? Do we certainly need a car or we can manage without it?
Is it only a vacation place as I have heard:) ?
What do you think is the best area to live ?
Also you could just talk about life in Caloundra:)

I Live In Pelican Waters Caloundra There Is A Bus From The Shopping Center Leaves Every Hr Which Will Take You Into Caloundra Bus Exchange You Can Catch A Bus To Most Places There & A Link Up To Trains

I Think You Have It Right There Isnt Much Work Here But Its Just Beautiful A Lot Of People Travel To Brisbane For Work But Its A Hard Slog By Car Its 1hr1/4 Thats Outside The Rush Hr By Train Its About 2hrs We Have Lots Of Clubs To Join & Of Course Beautiful Beach's Its Near Noosa Everything Is Within Driving Distance
