Hello

As we have done everything we need to here how come we have to wait until the AOS has been lodged ? Our sponsors and us obviously are keen to get over to Oz. I guess its part of the torture that is migration but it is rather frustrating. I wonder what the timescales are for people in our position 0- ie case officer has had everything for us for the last four weeks - does he process what we have given him to date or does he sit on it until the AOS lodgement is done? Im hoping that the first scenario is what happens as obviously it ll take time to go through everything. It has been almost sixteen months from start to finish for us and I guess we are getting somewhat .... argh ;-)

My sponsoring relatives asked if we could just come over and give them the bond and then that would be it - we would be there and have our visa at last!
