Hi all,

my partner and I are looking to emigrate to Australia. I want to go down the route of the 457 sponsored visa and I am applying for jobs and getting in touch with companies at the moment.
I have a working holiday visa and I am thinking of going over to OZ early in the new year before it runs out (March 2013) to try and get a job/work expierince whilst there, is this the better option?
Also, I am mainly applying for jobs in the cities of NSW & VICTORIA but I am open to moving to Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.
I am Civil and Structural Technician and I am wondering if anyone knows which states have the most job opportunities for this role and where I would be best going to on my working holiday visa?
