When to Book Flights...

We have found tenants for our house who have verbally confirmed they would like to take over the property from 1st of October 2012. The dilemma is, we now want to book our flights to Australia for the 2nd of Oct, however we are unsure whether we should, or whether we should wait until contracts are signed. It may mean waiting until mid September in which case flights may be alot dearer!

Would you book your flights now or would you wait..?? All thoughts much appreciated! My hubbie says to wait, I want to book them now!

Personally I'd say wait until the paperwork is signed, sorry to be the spoil sport

We are managing it ourselves m2m.. do you know when the paper work should be signed? Can we ask them to sign it sooner for the intended date?

I would book them.I just booked mine for 17th oct to brisbane and got a good price.
You could check with the airline if you are able to make changes if needed for free or ask them how much it would cost.

Getting there. House is going on the market for rent this week. Shipping company booked for early september. Biggest job is to clear the house and pack. But there is still lots to do.

There is no reason at all that they shouldn't be able to sign now. No Worries Mate would probably know the law more than me for over there though.

we booked our fligths through thomson but had to chnage ours in bringing them forward - it cost us £429 for 2 adults and an infant for admin fees. dont know about moving them back tho? i would inquire as to charges or youll going to be left in a messy situation
