ACS - Advanced Diploma

Hi Everyone,

Can someone advise me please?

I have a HND in Civil Engineering which I would say is higher than my IT qualifications but ACS have come back with:

Your Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft completed April 2005 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a major in computing

So when I apply to DIAC do I put down this qualification or should I try and work out what my HND is in the equivalent?

If a particular academic qualification was relied upon to obtain a pre-migration skills assessment you must list it. To do any better you would need a qualification assessed as comparable to an Australian degree.

It probably would not hurt to run your case past a registered migration agent to check points and eligibility.

I doubt that an HND would be comparable to a Australian Degree.

I have been assessed by ACS. I have both both BENG and HND. My BENG was assessed as being equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree amd my HND equivalent to AQF Advanced Diploma.

Well I guess if I use points for an AQF then that's a minimum scoring which I'll go off...
