NSW State Sponsorship Received Today :) - How does that affect me on EOI?

Hi Guys,

i am hearing conflicting stories on this, hopefully someone can confirm. Obviously missed the deadline for July 1st, our NSW sponsorship took almost 6 weeks.

Is this still valid for me now, will I get an automatic invite to apply for the 190 through EOI? Is there anything else I need to do or that I should be aware of?

As far as I know you need to tell NSW your EOI id so they can update the Skillselect system with your nomination so you will get your invitation to apply. Due to the Skillselect system not working properly no applications are able to be lodged until 11 Aug.
