      skillselect question

      Dear sir :
      I would like to apply to immigrate to Australia through the new system skillselect , I am dental therapist t and my wife is chemist , my question is can I apply two EOI one for me as primary applicant and my wife as secondary , and another one but my wife will be the primary applicant and me as secondary , by this to increase my chances , as both can separately can pass the passmark

      Yes - but you can not claim partner points - as both occupations require to be on the same SOL - which they are not.

      The Dental Theripist can lodge EOI for 189, 190 & 489, Chemist only 190 & 489. (489 is only a provisional visa, if you pass the points test, I wouldnt lodge an EOI for the 489)

      The 190 visa requires State Nomination - many states require you to apply for State Nomination after you lodge your EOI.

      THe Dental Theripist has better chance of getting an Invitaion.
