      medicals due - very worried

Hi all, We are now at the final hurdle of our visa and are due to take medicals at any time but, I am really worried. My migration agent has said the australian government might request more info on my daughter as she has aspergers, she is 15 and seems to cope well academically but an IQ test she had done 6 months ago shows she is below average IQ, apart from that she is fully independent Im really worried this could blow it all. Has anyone got any experience of this or any suggestions? :(

I really cannot belive that having a daughter with aspergers will affect your application in any way.
Making you think outside of the box since 1999.

Please dont worry, it shouldnt affect the medical...... according to the website, it appears TB is the big no no, and other 'diseases' NOT 'conditions'.
My 15 year old has ADHD (and all the problems that go with that) and my 4 year old was born with lung congential deformalities with medinalshift (not disease!)...... I have yet to have medicals but i am not worried ..... what will be will be.....

Good luck, im sure you will all be fine xx

Thanks Perthbum (lol nice name) I am in a real downer today just thinking of what we are going to do if it all goes wrong as we have sold the house and lost a lot of money we would be in such a bad position if the medicals blew it for us

I fit my 457 visa through today nine days in total and that was with a delay to get full birth certificates

Like any condition, submit as much information at the time of the medicals so that they have all the information on hand. If your daughter has been tested/seen a specialist for diagnosis - get them to do you a letter. For any condition they are interested in: in what the problem is, any treatment/investigations what treatment may be needed in the next 10 years and prognosis
I just want PIO to be a happy place where people are nice to each other and unicorns poop rainbows
