      WA SS time scale

      Hi guys,

We got our positive skills assessment back last week and submitted our WA SS on Monday, I'm just wondering how long they are taking at the moment as I know they are extremely busy!!! I've been told 6 weeks by one person and 2 by another!!
We are wanting to lodge our 176 ASAP when we have got over this hurdle.
Also how long are people waiting for medicals lately? We are hoping to have the visas by late August, do you think this is possible?

      Thanks in advance

Fear less, hope more, eat less, chew more, whine less , breathe more, talk less , say more , love more ,and all good things will be yours .

Heya, our SS took 6 days and like that we thought it could take up to 6 weeks. Once you get you SS and lodger your 176 you can the book Meds. We got an appointment a week late. I checked with the Medical places before we even got our SS to see was there waiting lists and they told me I'd get an appointment within a week so maybe just contact yours to double check.

Best of luck & hopefully you might get to join the May gang if SS comes through Monday.

Current processing time for WA SS as posted on their website is 3 days to beat the deadline, as being seen here:
      http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skill...atestNews.aspx
WA SS is valid for 3 months as appeared on my approval letter.
