IELTS Results for 21st April Test

Hi mate. I'm living in South Wales now so I did mine in Bristol. Really nice people running the test there. (I can say that now I've passed!)

Mapster please don't quit - if you don't want to take the test again, try applying for a regional visa. But as long as there's still time, there's hope!

Hi ste, yeah it is hard sitting exams after a long time. Hubby knew he failed 1st one but was suprised at scores he got so sat it again and was confident but only just scraped through. I think it depends on examiner. His 1st one was in sheffield and second one in york.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you, wish they used overall score. My hubby can relax now till we have meds done.

Hey All!! Still cant`t see my results online.... Will propably have to wait now for the postman. The bad thing is that I wonīt be home to pick it up until Thursday
Try to call them on monday. This waiting is killing me!!

Well done to everyone that got the scores they need. I sat mine on the 21st in rugby,can't seem to get my results online and I've binned my letter with the candidate number on...donkey!!! No results in the post for me either yesterday so I'm just going to have to wait,it's a killer :(

Hi cheryl, My hubby threw his candidate number away too. He emailed the college where he sat the test and gave his name and test date and requested candidate number. They emailed back the number so we were able to get result online. Just a thought .

Have you thought about switching to the Academic version? Presuming you sat General.

You could have been just 1 correct answer short of an 8. That exact same score would have probably been good enough for 8 in the Academic version as you're allowed to get a couple extra wrong.

I really struggled with the Reading (it's a horrible test) and switching to Academic worked for me. For most cases, DIAC will except either although I'd obviously double check your particular scenario first.

My hubby sat his on 21st april and got the it though the post Saturday 5th may, hope u all got it now :)

Still waiting on the results, the postman has just been and NOTHING!!!!!!!

Will have to phone the test centre now to see if they can help.
