I am a software tester i have recieed positive assesment from ACS. How do i know if my skill is still under any state sponserhip or If I am still eligible for applying under 176. Please guide.

I'm afraid you'll have to google the other states!

If you need more steps in guiding for application, I strongly suggest you contact a registered migration agent to determine what the next step should be to avoid making unnecessary mistakes which could be costly!

Software Testers are only eligible to apply under State Sponsorship route, i,e. 190. Currently, only Victoria and South Australia are offering sponsorship for this profession.

I am having 12 years experience in IT my current job title is senior Quality assurance lead ,Previously my designation was Analyst programmer(5 yrs experience) ,Iam holding a bachelor engineering degree too,Can anyone plz let me knw which Acs code should i nominate.Can I obtain as software engineer 261313 or tester 261314.I understand Victoria & SA provides sponsorship for testers.But iam reluctant to apply as a tester ,since iam afraid whether the application numbers will be huge than software engineers/analysts.Can anyone plz give me suggestion which ACS code i should choose to apply as well does any one knw which skill will meet the required quoto soon.Iam very much worried since i havent obtained my IELTS yet .Its scheduled only in december 2012.Iam afraid whether the quoto of the states will be closed by then.

I appreciate if anyone there could clarrify me.
