Anyone had a skills assessed by TRA since OCT 2011???

I have not seen any positive feed back from anyone dealing with TRA since well before Oct 2011, i am aware there is a back log but this is beyond a joke!!! If any one has had an positive response can they let me Know please.

We sent ours off mid October and according to our agent should hear very soon.
She was telling us that the back log of applications is being caused by staff leaving because they don't like the changes that have taken place since TRA was merged back into government hands.

Thanks for the info, that's just my luck when i apply to TRA there's a mass walk out!!!

The reply should be back within 60 working days not 60 days, also if bank holidays fall in that period it will mean longer.

Just made enquiries with them yesterday and they are only up to applications lodged in September 2011.

WOW! I have no chance then. Mine was recieved on the 3rd Feb 2012, what chance do i have of recieving an answer before mid May. Looks like i'm in for a long wait. Plenty of time to do resits on my IELTS, if i fail. Hope you guys get to hear soon.

So do you think if only lodged know , with the timeframes is it realistic to say 176 will be granted before July ??
