Adding widowed mother as dependant for 175 visa application
Hi, I am applying for my 175 and would like to add my mother as my dependant, she is widowed and fully dependant on me. I am wondering if anyone has done it before who could advice if this is possible and the necessary processes, documents, health check that she needs to undertake for the application.
Really appreciate your help.

I'm looking to do the same with my MIL (mother-in-law). How did it go for you? Appreciate any insight or comments

This is a very old thread. Most people can't include a parent as a dependent as they generally either have a private or a state pension. They have to be totally dependent on you, no help available from the state etc.
