This morning I received approval for state sponsorship for western Australia however one of he condition set out is that I bring $120k with me to cover relocation costs. This amount will not be a problem once my house sale completes however currently I do not have this amount of money in a account. My question is do the DIAC require proof of the $120k qt time of lodgement or is proof required on entry to WA or is proof even required at all. I would estimate $20,000 for the first adult and then $10,000 per person on the application would be enough. Well correct me if i am wrong...Do u mean to say that we donot need to show them the proof of funds prior to the state sponsorship as part of their required documents?? ??? Once you have the sponsorship and then your visa I don't believe they can revoke the visa over this as your obligation is to the state not DIAC. Good luck ! I don't know about NT, but SA do not need proof of funds. We've just been through the process, as are lots of other people on Poms in Adelaide, and none of us have given proof of funds. Guest woj Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 When we applied we showed we researched how much stuff would cost to relocate, flights agent fees etc, then how much equity in house/savings we had etc. Wrote down we had x amount of dollars to support ourselves through the above means. We've just submitted our WA SS application yesterday morning and after much too-ing and fro-ing decided to be honest and have stated $37-39 (excluding relocation costs i.e. flights, freight, apartment bond etc). This is for myself and my huisband, so no dependants. Chardy we hav not yet files for the state sponsorship... Want to have a complete information so as to lessen down any probability of rejection....I hope state sponsorships donot get rejected very oftern...That is what i hope for.... However I decided to be prudent and put down a conservative amount. For example just in case my current buyer pulls out and I have to reprice the house to get a quick sale.
