My name is Margaret and I am a new member, so please be patient as I try to find out the answers to some questions.
Background info:- My daughter was born in Australia in 1967 but we returned to England two years later.
In April this year she and my grandchildren relocated to Brisbane. Prior to moving my daughter was granted citizenship and also the children by decent, one of my questions is, how long is "settled" , we have read that it can be two years or as litlle as three months, how can we find out if she is eligible to sponsor me.
I will be using a visa agent to help me with my application but wondered if any one out there is in the same position and could offer any advise.

The best explanation of 'settled' I've seen was written by long time PIO contributor and RMA Alan Collett and published in an article on the Go Matilda website. I hope Go Matilda/Alan won't mind my inmcluding a link to it:

According to that, I'd say your daughter should be able to sponsor you now if you meet all of the other requirements.
