Depends on his occupation, someone did post a link to how the jobs on the SOL are prioritsed I'll try and find it.

His occupation is Environmental Engineer and he is also charterted.

The catergory you go into when applying for your visa depends on which visa you apply for see the link below

The jobs listed on the SOL are prioritised as high medium and low which I didn't realise until someone posted a link on here to a PDF on the immi website but I can't find it now I'm guessing his priority would be medium from memory it was medical jobs that were high, but I would not be to bothered about that as long as his job is on the SOL.
