Australian Citizenship Test - iPhone App

      Hi guys,

I have developed a free iPhone app called 'GdayAustralia' to help people practice for the Australian Citizenship Test. I noticed that most other apps on the story are over $2. It is only Version 1 and is one of the first apps I have developed, so it does lack all the bells and whistles of some of the other apps but it does the job ( I will make improvements in future updates). Anyway, I thought it might help some of you guys, so check it out if you want. Here's the link:

      Easy?

Wow, Easier than the UK test?
I was amazed whilst creating GdayAustralia just how hard some of the questions are.
If you haven't checked out the free app yet, please do.

Yep as far as i can tell the Aussie test is quite easy and is based on the Life in Australia booklet whihc is not particularly thick. The UK test however is very difficult and I think designed to be ridiculously hard. Before leaving the UK my work colleagues and I all did the UK practice test and failed spectacularly despite us all having O and A levels, undergrad an post grad degrees. One of the questions asks in what year did women gain the right to divorce their husbands (1875) but even one of the Family lawyers specialising in divorce law didn't know this (he did but had forgotten about it) . Who on earth needs to know such rubbish when its not even taught in school?

For the Aussie practice test I got full marks and I never even read the booklet. I;d love to hear from anyone who has done the real test to see how hard it really is.

      Cheers
