457 Visa to work in Geology in Perth

Hi all,

I have accepted a job offer and signed a contract as a geo working out of Perth. The agent has said that the company is dealing with all of the 457 paperwork that will allow me to work and my wife to work on the back of it as a defacto.

Please can anybody help with the paperwork or timescales we will be looking at and any pitfalls that people have hit previously.

Mine came through in a week. It's all pretty straightforward, especially with an agent, as they know exactly what info you need to supply.
