I first applied for Visa back in 2007.. granted 2008.. validated visa 2009.. new partner applied for visa Sept 2010.. still waiting to hear.. partner is psycholgist and i am a registered nurse.. just heard that registration will take 6 months.. aaaggghhh!!!
