If you look at the chart in the Processing Time Standards section of the DIAC website, you'll see that it says that 886 applicants are Priority Group 2 if the application is :
"From people who are nominated by a state or territory government agency with a nominated occupation that is specified on that state or territory's state migration plan."
Client Service Charter
I think that's pretty clear - if your occupation is on SA's SMP, you're in Priority Group 2.
If it isn't on the SMP, but is on the SOL, you're in PG3 and if it isn't on either the SMP or the SOL, you're in PG4.
One of SA's FAQ's is very relevant and also answers your question. It reads:
"I received Sponsorship from South Australia some time ago and have lodged my visa application with DIAC. However, I noticed that my occupation is not on the State Sponsored Migration List (SSML). Will this make any difference to my visa application?
A. Applicants who have already received State Sponsorship from South Australia and have lodged their application with DIAC will be processed according to DIAC visa processing arrangements, visit Department of Immigration & Citizenship. Occupations that are on the SSML will receive Priority Processing 2 by DIAC. Occupations that were listed on previous occupation lists, but do not appear on the SSML will not receive Priority Processing 2 and will be processed according to DIAC’s visa processing arrangements."

Hi Sona
We are onshore applicants being processed by Brisbane, they are open again after the flood. We applied for an 886 in July 2009 and got a case officer just after christmas. We have friends who have applied between May and September 2009 and they all have been appointed case officers in the last four weeks.
Hope this helps.
