The loft clear out was good and we got rid of loads. Mikes parents cooked a roast and its prob the best I've had in ages if for no other reason than I was starving and didn't have to cook it myself!!!

I bet it feels quite theraputic getting rid of so much stuff. Mikes parents are looking after the boys tommorrow as we are tackling the dreaded loft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have lots of social evenings coming up, same as you, think it will be the most I've been out in ages!!!!

Only a few weeks left, how are you feeling!!!! I am up at my parents at the mo, spending time with them and also my brother and his family. We will come up and stay again before we go, but time is definately running out

Your afternoon sounded lovely I know that you mean abt a party we are not having one either, I dont like goodbyes we will do what you have done meet up with friends for a few drinks etc.. Know what you mean we have some great friends and will miss them teriibly but hopefully make new ones in Aus.
Isn't our summer rotten at the moment, only had abt a week of long hot days, never mind hopefully we will get another summer in Australia lol

I'm fine thanks Wendy. Your flight is a good one exactly what we had when we went before. By the time we arrived in Brisbane it was a quick drink at the apartment and bed. No jetlag what so ever, so fingers crossed you should all be fine.
Your lucky to be doing this whilst your children are so small, I wish we did , that way we would have had weekends in the pool at the beach exploring etc.. rather than sat indoors with the heating on lol Make the most of them while they are small the years fly by and they are all grown up before you know it. I love children they are so special.
Darens cooking me peppered steak to night with all the trimmings, yum yum so I'm just going to put my Pj's on and have a nice bottle of wine whie I watch him cook for me heehhehe

Hi Wendy, How's you? Not long now for you to be off! Are the children excited or are they too young to understand it all? What time flight have you booked? We got a 6:15pm (I think) it was the only flight time available for the price we wanted hopefully it will be OK, last time we had an 11am flight and for us it worked really well.

It feels really strange!!!! My mum and dad had been here for a week then they all went off to the caravan yesterday- only 35 mins from here though in Torbay and we have just been with them for a couple of hours as they had a little friends party to go too and they didn't want to miss it!
They have gone off again now though and Mike is busy cooking some dinner- how fab!
I feel for you re the whole potty training thing, I am glad that is over for us. Harrison was 21 months when Jacob was born and he already had stopped his afternoon nap-not my choice I can tell you, he just didn't need it- I was gutted! Jacob at 3 1/2 though can still fall asleep some afternoons if we have had a busy morn but then he won't sleep at nite!!
How are all your plans going? We are thinking of staying with Dale and Fran when we arrive now. Be good to look at the rental properties before tying in to one for six months.

I know I was watching Corrie and then came back to my computer and there were these cute little tiddlywinks looking at me. Love em I could have gave them a big squeeze !! They are georgous.
So your getting a real dab hand on the computer now. You can start posting some pics on here, especially when you got to Aus put some photos in the gallery.
