For the past 5 years I have been promising my youngest son (and myself) that I would have a go at writing a story/book.
Well, I've been laid up with the flu for a few days, bored beyond comprehension, so I decided to drag the laptop up to bed with me and, believe it or not, I DID IT! I have witten a childrens' story
Hopefully, this is the first of many stories using this character. Watch this space!!

Today Ashley's brother lost his 6 month battle with lung cancer .. he was only 45 years old. He leaves behind a wife and 4 children.
One of the hardest things we are all trying to come to terms with is that he died of lung cancer, a disease normally associated with smokers but he had never so much as taken a puff of a cigarette in his whole life and nobody in his family had ever smoked either! How cruel is that??
The lessons we should all learn from this tragedgy...
