Well the time has nearly arrived!! My parents are coming to stay woohoo!
Can't believe how quickly it's come around, but this time next week they will be here! There's so much to organise, make sure we've got enough sheets, towels, toiletries, food.... aargh! Then I've got to make sure everywhere is clean and presentable haha!
It's going to be the first time they have met Daniel my boyfriend so that will be interesting, I'm sure they'll get along fine (fingers crossed!) We're taking...

Now to most poms (or anyone like me!) saying 'I can swim' means 'I can get myself from A to B doing breast stroke'! But here in Oz the same statement seems to mean 'I can swim a fair way out into the ocean and play around in the waves at a depth where I cannot touch the bottom and where most poms would fail miserably!'

Hi everybody!

Well here goes with my first blog ever!!

I'm lucky enough to be already living in Australia with my lovely boyfriend. We met while working on the same cruise ship a year ago now, when he left the ship in January I was gutted that I had to stay without him. First thing I did when I got back to the UK at the end of Feb was to get myself a visa (Working Holiday Maker's) and book myself a flight!
