Up until a couple of weeks ago we were 90% certain we would be heading for Western Australia. Now we are 99% certain it will be South Australia. So why the complete change of destination? Well it's a combination of things that have changed our mind. The first thing was Shaun getting his first human reply to his job applications from an agency in Adelaide. However, the next day he also got a positive sounding reply from someone in Perth, so WA was still in the running. Then I heard some more information...

We put our house on the market on Monday and the following day had a call from the estate agent saying that somebody was interested in viewing!

She came today at 10am. She only had good things to say about it, but didn't seem overly enthusiatic, so I don't expect an offer just yet. Feels like things are definitely happening though.

We had an estate agent round to value the house today. It has been a mad rush to get it cleared and cleaned so it looks reasonable. The agent seemed very impressed and kept commenting on how much we'd done with the property and how well looked after it was. He said that because of the good finish, he felt that it was worth the ceiling price! :) We are really pleased and just a little bit flattered as well. I seems that our hard work and continual maintenance over the years has paid off. Also promising...

The week started with my husband's father disowning us when we told him we'd got our visas. It knocked us back initially, but now that we have recovered I feel it makes it easier for us to leave. For the first time in weeks I am actually looking forward to going again.

We have just purchased some big new suitcases. Next week we have got estate agents coming round to value the property. It feels good to finally start the ball rolling in this area.

My mother-in-law has had her first post op check up and got the results from what was removed. There was definitely cancer there, but they think they got it all. She will need to go back for 3 monthly check ups, but we can't really let this hold us back, so we are getting on with our plans.

The OH has been job hunting and got his details down with a few agencies. Not much feedback received yet, but he will hopefully be signing up with a few more agencies. I'm hoping to get the house...
