well, what a weekend! Had our farewell party on Saturday night and it was great. We had a great turnout at our local footie club (about 100 people + kids). It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, just turning up to say bye. After all this time we have finally got a date to move out and its in 3 days time!Its certainly put things into perspective and made what we are embarking on so real. Well, not had too much to report this last few weeks. Christmas was good although oh was ill with a cold bug for most of it! We saw family & friends and seemd to be out and about much more than usual. The seeing in of the New Year just made us more determined to get to Oz,. I couldn't really stnad the thought of another 12 months in this place. Our house sale is still vvery slow although we have had the searches/survey done now and yesterday answered a lot of questions from the buyers solicitors....

Well I am a bit p...ed of tonight as I failed my driving test this morning (again). I hoped that I would pass as I really don't know what the situation with learner drivers is in Perth but I guess I'll be able to find out and if I have to have lessons over there then so be it. It would be so nice though to have a uk licence and just exchange it. I just wish I could control my test nerves as that is all that holds me back.
