Yesterday was my birthday....it's not the first birthday I've had since moving to Sydney as I had one last year just after we emigrated but this year was a big one with a 0 at the end!!! Celebrated our 1st anniversary in Sydney yesterday (1st September) and can't believe how quickly the year has gone!
It's been a mixed year but can honestly say that this feels like 'home' and there is still nothing about England I miss other than people and that doesn't get any easier. Most of the time it's ok but some days I feel really down.....Have made a couple of friends but would still like to make some more obviously but it's not easy and I'm just so glad I have...
