Good luck with the house offer, we are having no luck at the moment, no viewers at all, so looking down the renting side now. I know what you mean about only doing the one trip, if we do rent we won't need to do the validation trip, which will save about 7.5k (my little car), lol. Got an email confirmation that we can have double baggage allowance with an unstamped visa - regardless of having a return ticket - so I will be checking in armed with that email! Thing is if we do end up coming back if the house isn't sold we might not need the extra allowance!! Is a logistical nightmare!! But saying that we did have 2 viewings last week so you never know....!!!

Hi again, hmmmmmmmmmmm don't think you will be able to, but please let me know if you do get them, I was told the first trip be it a one way or a validation trip is the only one you get the double allowance on, got that makes sense.

Nope - just booked some flights to Oz though for my sisters wedding in November!!! If the house sells before then - then we might not be coming back!!! But the way things are will probably be coming back unfortunately. Just looking into see if we can still get double baggage allowance for our visa validation trip even though it's a return flight?????
