Many thanks! We didn't get a case officer as far as we know....just got our visa granted with no contact from a CO, no email advising of one, or no further requirements/info requested! We decided to front load our medicals and police checks too just to speed things up. The only downside is that we now only have until 27 Dec to activate our visa as this was the date or our first police check. We also scanned and attached a signed copy of an Australian values statement, again just to speed things up. I did think about doing a form 80 (character assessment form) incase this was requested too. I just decided to do it last week, and was intending on filling it out on Thursday....but our visa was granted!! Some people are asked to fill one out, and other not. Don't know why!
Anyway, good luck with the medicals, and is you haven't already send off for your policae checks soon, and sign that Australian Values statement! There's no actual form on the Aus Immigration website, but here's the link to the one that I printed and signed (one for each person over 18):
