myself and my partner have been in sydney for 5 months now and we will soon be travelling the east Coast finishing at port dougias as my girlfriends uncle has a apartment there which he has let us use, we ideally want to do our regional work in port douglas as we have this accomodation sorted does anyone have any advice for regional work there or any contacts you know that would be worth speaking to? I am a plumber and my girlfriend worked as a p.a in sydney but we are willing to do any type of work that qualifies for our second year

I spoke to BA and the said as long as you give plenty of notice for your change date and as long as its the same flight code the price should be the same

You can only book the return date 11months on from the date you book but you can ring up and move the flights backwards once your preferred return is within the 11month window, most airlines charge $50-$150 admin fee but it still works out cheaper than 2 singles

I paid £848 return flying from heathrow on 26th aug with BA

Hi Kyle i would say it would need to be someone in a professional position, I.e a teacher, doctor, police officer etc, the same way that when you apply for a passport in this country your photo has to be countersigned by someone in a professional position

Hi all myself and my girlfriend are coming to australia in August on a 1 yr whv, we are staying with family in sydney for a couple of weeks just to settle in and then plan to fly up to cairns where we want to live and work for 3months before moving on down the Gold Coast back to sydney for Xmas and new year there are a few things I need help with what is the best area in cairns to stay for 3months bearing in mind we will be looking for work straight away? And is it easy to find work for backpackers? is it possible to book somewhere to stay for 3months from the uk as I like to be prepared otherwise I panic haha? If not and we have to stay in a hostel for a week or so till we find longer term accommodation can anyone recommended a good hostel? hope someone can help and look forward to your replies
